About the Role

We are seeking experienced Senior Planning Engineers to join our team in various locations around Australia including FIFO projects, Perth, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne as well as our India office in Mumbai. This is a new role in our growing business with existing work for you to walk into and take on immediately. Our clients and relationships are established, and we are continuing to grow our team by developing our own and bringing in experience to support us all.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Development of Tender Programs using Primavera P6 for different projects
• Development of Baseline Programs using Primavera P6 for different projects
• Identification and development of project key resources requirement and uploading into the P6 program
• Preparation of accurate reporting and forecasting tool for different projects
• Update and monitoring of weekly project progress, preparation of trend forecasts and initiation of corrective actions
• Prepare regular status reports and forecasts for project management and client review
• Liaise with Australian planning/project team to update progress, productivity and understanding project critical issues
• Preparation of simplified programs and presentations for site staff to achieve productivity on daily basis
• Preparation of mitigation and acceleration schedules by adopting different construction methodologies
• Review and analysis of all sub-contractor schedules
• Preparation of internal management reports for project progress analysis including executive reporting, earned value, KPIs

• Ability to lead, act as a mentor and work collaboratively with those around you
• Provide value planning through consultation and engagement
• Exceptional communication skills; talk and engage with those around and lead clients on the Damos journey
• Track and report – know exactly where the progress is in relation to the plan and be able to talk to it when required
• Develop strong relationships and work closely with our international Mumbai office
• SME knowledge within civil construction field – earthworks, roads, bridges, structures and buildings
• Experience in preparation of EOT claims and delay analysis
• Technical skills – proficient in Primavera P6 with tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering
